Errors Related to Trading Mode and Exchange Permissions

These errors occur when the trading pair, trading mode, or exchange account settings are incompatible with the bot’s operation. Make sure the selected parameters match the exchange requirements and the bot usage conditions.

  • Incorrect trading mode
Check your exchange account settings and make sure the correct trading mode is selected. In the exchange terminal, you need to set One-Way mode. Hedge mode is also available for the Default Grid strategy, but we always recommend using One-Way mode.

  • Unsupported account mode
The selected account mode is not supported. You need to change the account mode on the exchange. In most cases, you need to disable Hedge mode.

  • Reduce-only rule not satisfied
This error occurs when the bot cannot close the position due to a violation of the Reduce-Only rule. This often happens if the user trades manually, which leads to position mismatches. Check whether there are any differences between the position size on the exchange and in the bot statistics.

  • Risk limit exceeded
The risk limit set by the exchange has been exceeded. Check your current positions and the risk limits set on the exchange.

  • Symbol is not whitelisted
The coin is not included in the list of assets available for trading on the exchange. Select another coin from the list. The coin may have been delisted by the exchange.

  • Exchange account problem
There is a problem with the exchange account. Check the account status: identity verification (KYC) may be required, or the exchange may have restrictions for your region. Contact the exchange support team or review the rules and restrictions.
