Connecting Bybit

To start trading through GinArea on Bybit, you need to:

  • Have a Bybit account
  • Complete KYC on the exchange
  • Create an API key
  • Connect the API key in your GinArea personal account

Creating an API Key on Bybit

Go to the API management page on Bybit:
Create API Key

Click Create New Key.

Select the API type: System-generated API Keys.

Specify the following settings:

API Key Usage
Select Connect to Third-Party Applications.

Application Name
Select GinArea from the list of available applications.

API Key Permissions
Select Read-Write.

In the Unified Trading Account section, select the following permissions:

  • Orders
  • Positions
  • Trade

Click Submit at the bottom of the list.

Connecting the API Key to GinArea

After creating the API key on Bybit, go to the Exchanges page in your GinArea personal account:
Exchanges

Enter your API key details:

  • API Key
  • Secret Key

Additional Information

  • API keys can only be created through the Bybit web interface. The mobile app does not support API key creation.

  • GinArea API keys created by selecting the application during key creation are permanent and do not require renewal.
